They are a group of talented women. No, they are not the Spice girls, but the Syriana Perera Chiefs (Sri Lankan), Kaouther Mejri (Tunisian), Samah Helfatih (Sudanese) and Ana Moniz, and they form the collective "Band of Chiefs". A supportive and responsible catering service, the very essence of "gang de Cheffes" is to enable exiled women to exercise their know-how-cooking-by facilitating their access to professional life and independence. Every weekend at La Gaité Lyrique, the four women of the collective compose you with love a 100% homemade Brunch, made from fresh, local and seasonal products.
A fusion kitchen buffet with oriental notes
Au menu ? Une ribambelle de mezzés aux saveurs qui font voyager les papilles, du Houmous, tahini, pétales au zaatar et graines de sumac, des navettes de boeuf aux herbes fraîches et aux 4 épices ou encore du chou grillé crème gingembre et ail parsemé de dukkah. Côté boissons, le chocolat au lait bio, le café équitable, les thés & infusions, jus de pomme d’IDF et jus maison gingembre-citron sauront satisfaire toutes les envies. Pour finir en beauté sur une note sucrée, on fond pour le baba au jus d’agrume, le crumble Dalinette aux Dattes et poudre de gingembre ou la crème brûlée à la poudre de sésame noir, entre autres délices.
