Figure of the contemporary creative scene, Amina Muaddi adds yet another string to her bow during a collaboration alongside the essential hosiery brand, Wolford. In the program ? A wardrobe with assumed sexyness celebrating femininity made up of 17 pieces ranging from tights to leggings and eight ready-to-wear models. Encounter.

What values do you share with Wolford? Your capsule in 3 words? Amina Muaddi: “I believe that we are both committed to excellence and the creation of timeless, fresh and modern pieces. Our two respective trades go together perfectly, so when they m contacted for this collaboration, it seemed completely logical to me. I've always been a Wolford fan. And this capsule is, in my opinion, minimalist, versatile and of a refined femininity.”
What is the continuity, the placement in relation to your eponymous brand?A. M.: “Wolford represents the epitome of luxury hosiery, it's a category that sits between ready-to-wear and accessories and there is no other item that is more related to footwear in terms of style."
How was the creative process? A. M.: “I was very enthusiastic about the idea of working on this project. We designed about sixty models and it was difficult to reduce the collection to seventeen pieces. I wanted to create a complete wardrobe that could be worn often and easily. I thought about the fundamental identity of the brand, I was inspired by the aesthetics of the 90s, so well rendered by Helmut Newton for his campaigns. Clean cuts, a concentrated color palette and different textures for a strong but minimalist collection. I imagined crystal nude tights for all skin tones, strappy tights that could be worn with strappy sandals, a special pair of nylon and lace tights, faux leather and latex socks to wear with sandals. And of course, feminine dresses, leggings, bodysuits and a jumpsuit with built-in shoes.”

How to wear it during the day? And as soon as night falls? A. M.: “It was important for me to create a collection that you can easily wear on different occasions. I think each piece is very versatile and can be dressed up or down.”
