On the occasion of a boulevard Nature walk, between Coulaines and Saint-Pavace, on the banks of Sarthe, we see on the other side of the shore an imposing building, nestled in a five hectare park, sovereign in its clothesfall.However, by more closely scrutinizing the buildings, we discover a partly damaged framework, nibbled by time and, we will learn later, fires in 1997 and 2020.

Cette bâtisse, c’est l’ancienne usine Vinay « Le Lait du Maine » ​qui dans la mémoire collective est devenue « la chocolaterie de Saint-Pavace »​, bien qu’aucun chocolat n’en soit jamais sorti.

Composed of four buildings, this factory abandoned since the bankruptcy of its owners in 1955, has become the playground for adolescents and young adults practicing Urbex (practice consisting in visiting constructed and abandoned places).It is for them to explore disused buildings by entering these private properties, not without risk.

The Vinay dairy is in this sense particularly dangerous.Young people are full of tips to access it, at least three access is known.One of them is to cross the canoe shore, another requires climbing a wall 1m70 high.The last one finally is a portal closed by a padlock.The most daring climb it when the others are content, material in hand, to break the lock.

Once entered, four buildings are available to urban exploration.On the way, we find labels of dairy products in perfect condition and barrels used to keep and transport milk.It is then not difficult then to engage in the buildings by open entries.The show is striking: nature...
