If being excluded from the France team for five years could already have served as a sufficient sentence, the public prosecutor however requested ten months in prison suspended and a fine of 75,000 euros for the native of Lyon. The four other fantastic judged at the hearing, Younes Houass, Karim Zenati, Mustapha Zouaoui and Axel Angot should also take for their rank. Four years' imprisonment required against Zouaoui and a fine of 15,000 euros. Angot could serve eighteen months behind bars and be fined the same amount. Without a criminal record, Houass saw the prosecutor request a suspended sentence of eighteen months in prison and a fine of 5,000 euros. Finally, two years' imprisonment and a fine of 5,000 euros were required against Zenati, in a state of recidivism. After six years of legal turmoil, the famous case will finally deliver its verdict this Friday, putting an end to a dark chapter in the careers of Karim Benzema and Mathieu Valbuena.
