The made-to-measure hat, a specialty:
A made-to-measure hat is an easy dream come true for Carole. Whether it's an everyday hat or for a ceremony, it's one of Carole's specialties. She can respond to your most daring requests from sketches, screenshots, cut-outs… to design your custom hat with you. You choose the materials (felt, wool, faux fur, leather, straw, sisal, fibres, linen, cotton, bark, cork, silk, horsehair, etc.) as well as the decorations (beads, buttons, feathers)…
And if her workshop is located too far from your home and you can't get around, then you can design your hat remotely by exchanging emails with Carole. Otherwise go to the workshop with your most complete outfit (fitting room on site to put on your outfit).
And as Carole creates unique pieces, no extra cost, it's the same price.

Here is the daily life of the milliner in her workshop: shaping, stretching and modeling. Look for a patronage volume, then take out a patronage. Cut, crumple, bubble, drape, and also sew, garnish, match. A hat is therefore the result of a mixture of aesthetic lines, comfort and interplay of materials. It is thus the choice of material (straw, felt, velvet, cotton, leather, sisal, bark, etc.) that determines the technique for making the hat. The addition of decorations gives it its final look.
